Save the Ta Ta's

I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said SAVE THE TA TA'S! I thought what a great bumper sticker. Get attention about a very important aspect of a woman's life with humor.

This month is breast cancer awareness month. And this past weekend was our area's annual Race for the Cure Komen Walk. What is so awesome to me is not just the women battling this terrible disease, but all the family members out there showing their support to the women they love. Saturday was a true testament of love. I saw men out there who have never been to anything like this, you could tell by the way they were dressed, but they were there as support to the women they love.

Love and positive support is such a strong drug. Optimism and a positive attitude say that they, as a team, will beat this. And that is so important to a woman. Probably in some ways more important than the drugs they take.

You know these ta ta's can bring down or stop otherwise very strong and intelligent men. I even say a guy with a t-shirt that said "I love boobs". Men can be so simple. I wore a rather low cut blouse the other day when flying to Chicago. Most times no one says a word to me, but this time I had several men strike up conversations with me and one offered to share a taxi! Wow these things are gold. I just wish I had these 34C's when I was 18, I would ruled the world!

This month make your appointment for your annual mammogram if you have not done so yet. Take care of yourself and save the ta ta's. They are a piece of art to me and your life may depend on it.
