The product may be "hard" but shopping at Granite Outlet sure isn't!

I don't know about you, but shopping for clothing, home accessories etc is so easy and natural for me. In fact, I do this with such ease, and save money at the same time. But when I have to move over to items that are more technical in nature such as plumbing, appliances, etc, I just find it a task I do not like and far too much work.

Over the past year we have started doing some remodeling in our home. Small projects at a time, but still, each takes a great deal of time. We now have our master bathroom completely redone and I am so glad it is finished. But I have to admit I did learn some things. But still not as fun as learning about new fashions!!!

Our next project is the kitchen. I have really been putting this off, because I view this one as much to difficult or "hard". The one thing I really want to do is replace my countertops with the much desired "granite" countertops you see in all the showrooms.

Why I have viewed this next project with such dread, and say it is "hard" is, to be honest, I greatly needed to educate myself as to where to start or what to look for when shopping for granite. At least, I didn't know where to start until I met with Susan Rider, owner of Granite Outlet in Radcliff, Kentucky.

I don't know about your experiences, but I have found many salemen can be rather condensending or short when you are trying to learn about a product. But not the ladies at Granite Outlet. Granite Outlet is a family owned business. The Granite Girls consist of the Mom (Susan) and two daughters, (Julie and Samantha). The Granite Girls and a nephew (Jacob) focus on customer service and design.

I met Susan through a networking group and set up an appointment to met with her to learn more about her, her business and the product. I walked away from our meeting knowing a great deal about granite and better prepared to make some wise decisions on my future purchase.

I liked the way she took her time to educate me on granite and the different stones that are now available for kitchen countertops. They not only carry granite but they also carry many other stones and tiles for kitchens, baths, etc.

In working with Granite Outlet, I provided them the deminsions of my room requirements and received a detailed job quote within one day. Another aspect that impressed me, was in my conversations with Susan I soon realized that quality work was very important to her company. This is something that is very important to me and my husband as well. We like working with a company that views each job as an individual, rather than a number in a computer data base. That is why more and more I do business with small businesses such as Granite Outlet . They made a subject I viewed as "hard" into one that was, to be honest, quite easy. Check them out today, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by not only the service but the price as well!

Thanks ladies. Have a great day!
