Do Something Nice - and Don't Tell Anyone

Seems like there are so many events where they want to publicize people doing good for charity etc. That is nice, but it seems that many are doing it for the notoriety. Why not do something nice for others and don't tell anyone about it. Don't even take credit with the person or person you do the good deed for! If more people did this, won't the world be an awesome place?

Does everything have to be rewarded? Pass on nice comments, perform a nice gesture, pay for some one's lunch without them knowing it etc. Do something nice with out anyone knowing it was you and see how awesome it feels.

I read that in a book I have. It is a great book, Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. It suggests that rather than diluting the positive feelings by telling others about your own act of kindness, by keeping it to yourself you get to retain ALL the positive feelings.

On Ellen yesterday she has challenged others to read Dr. Wayne Dyer's book and to perform random acts of kindness - without any promise of money or fame. I like that. Go and do nice. If more people did this, what a great world this would be. Be nice, feel good inside and don't tell anyone. Just let those who receive enjoy, and you will have your silent pleasure within.

Thanks Ellen for the challenge and putting this book and other positive thoughts out there for us.
What have you done nice today? Don't tell anyone!
